Banisters made using PVC Pipe - bent with PVC Bendit
We just posted a video on our website and YouTube showing how Joseph Steinberger built 3 banisters out of PVC pipe. In this video you'll see the PVC Bendit is inserted into PVC Pipe and when it got warm and soft they placed the 20' section on their form to achieve the shape and style they desired.
Joseph used both metal pipe and flexible metal conduit inside the PVC Pipe for additional strength and stability. He had special attachments made to secure the Banisters to his stair case.
