Use the Variac Transformer to regulate the current to the PVC Bendit.

Doing this allows you to adjust/lower the current so as to limit how hot the temperature of the PVC Bendit gets.

Conversion for VA to Watts:

500 VA = 350 Watts = 1.46 Amps

2,000 VA = 1400 Watts = 5.83 Amps
